Environment´s information

Ideal houses to enjoy the peace and the quiet in its privileged environment. Only with the contemplation to the Nature from its gardens and lookouts will be enough to spend some days of rest and relax. Its twilights are unforgetable with an awesome sunset that can be observed from the right bank of Jucar in front of the houses. Far away from the noisy roads, the only sounds you can hear are the birds songs, the whisper of the pines or the bells of the church of the village. Natural silence that provides to its inhabitants contemplating the partridge, squirrels or hare. Suitable places for hiking, fishing, paint ball-photography and tourist visits to intereting localities. Close to the house or to the village can be visited interesting landscapes such as Hondo del Rio, el Batanejo, El Salto, Las Hoces del Jucar, Galapagar, Fabrica de la Luz, La Dehesa, Fuente La Teja, etc.
Villalgordo del Jucar is a typical village from Castilla y la Mancha of 1500 inhabitants, with a beautiful church, awesome bridge and water jump over the river and remains of the old palace which is witness of its splendorous past of the paper business. It is located 50 km far away from Albacete, 175 km far away from Valencia, and its beaches, 195 km far away from Murcia and 230 km far away from Madrid.
Next to different villages (in a radio of 13 km) of tourist inerest: La Ronda (with beautiful big houses with blazons), Tarazona de La Mancha (with typical medieval square), Fuentesanta (with convent-church that has a national cloister), Villanueva de La Jara (historic population full of convents, churches, and notable monuments). A little bit further away is Alarcón with its Castle-Parador (40 km far away) and the beautiful city of Cuenca (100 km far away). 30 km far away from the Golf Court Las Pinaillas (Motilleja) with 18 holes.

Villalgordo del Júcar

Village of Albacete whose parish from Magdalene is originally of the XIII century with modifications in the centuries in the XVI-XVIII centuries. Close to the village is the cave of Saint Catalina of Cardona who met Saint Teresa of Jesus in 1580 and who motivated the construction of a Carmelita convent. Other touristic attraction is the Museum of the Reservoir Correas and Tebar with more than 5.000 elements from the XIX century, from metal, clothing, carton, piece of glass, with identifications and other of decoration. There are different caves where the champignon mushroom is cultivated. The palace of the Gosalvez is of French Neoversallesc style, of the beginning of the XX century, and its surrounding there are gardens with palms of South America. In the village there is an awesome bridge and a jump of water above the river.
